With joomla 1.5 you can make more quickly

    * Menu "Extensions" >> "Module Manager"
    * Click [New] to create module HTML
    * Choise "Custom HTML" and click [Next]
    * Paste your code in "Custom Output"
    * Then click save

   Done!

2 . With joomla 1.0x you must install html module's
